La Diosa Cellars

La Diosa Cellars Wine BarCreativity flows from every corner of La Diosa Cellars, from the beautiful artwork on the walls, to the design of the wine labels, to the wine itself, and finally into the brilliant cuisine. I have not experienced such magnificent tapas since I visited Spain. Located across from Kim McPherson's Winery in the historic Depot District of Lubbock, Texas, the people of the High Plains must be proud of this special jewel. I can only wish that Kim's wife and owner of La Diosa, Sylvana McPherson, would someday consider opening a second venue closer to me. I would certainly be a regular!

La Diosa Cellars TablesThe wines presented at La Diosa are a perfect fit for the food menu. They include the La Diosa label, which is made in collaboration with McPherson Cellars and comprise the same high standards of quality and value as the McPherson label, as well as several other labels from Texas and around the world. Everything from Chilean Carmenere to Llano Estacado Port. Of course there are several McPherson wines to choose from too. Find a big comfy couch with a large coffee table or perhaps a quaint bistro table, settle back and enjoy live music, order some of the signature tapas or pizzas, then explore the wines to find just the right pairing. Makes me wish I lived in Lubbock...
